This is horrendous there is no reason for children to be abused. What did those kids do that was so bad they had to be abused all the time or even at all its sad to think that this many kids are abused

Its sad. Unfortunately I understand. I am a teacher and kids talk to me about this. Child abuse has made these kids think about running away or even comiting suicide. We need to find the kids thats getting abused and take them away. Its really sad. Shouldnt no one get hurt in any kind of way!

Yes this is very tragic. I am a victim of child abuse. Getting takin out of my home was the best thing for me. I thank God everyday. I now encourage others and am always on the lookout for abusive signs. Please if you know of someone who is being abused or neglected. Report it. It will change their lives forever. We can all save lives, one child at a time. They need to see the light. Please Report it. !!!!
This could be their only chance before its too late.

Reading these statistics made me cry. My husband is a victim of child abuse and he also has a psychological disorder, which makes it much harder for him to cope with the things that happened to him as a child. He talks to me about it all the time, because talking helps him heal, and after reading all of these facts, some of the things that he does/says make a whole lot more sense. It’s not because he wants to do these things, but him being abused led him to do these things, and he is not happy about them. Please, if you know someone who is being abused or someone who is abusing others, please, please, please report it, it could save their life.

I, too, am highly upseted by these statistics.
I am doing a school project for contemporary issues about child abuse.
I tend to incorperate this video into my presentation:

I warn you, it’s a little graphic. But, I really hope it gets my point across, even though the video is slightly older.

I am doing a school project on child abuse, and seeing and reading about some of the people that were abused and some of the children that had the marks on them from the abuse makes me very sad and all of this makes me want to help the children and who ever is getting abused.

I can’t believe how many people are abused out there. It’s a horrible thing. We got to speak out and let others know. I have spoken out about child abuse myself. I know it’s wrong but the people that do it obviously don’t understand how much it hurts. I have had my whole childhood token away from me and I will never get that back. I was sexually abused for three years at the age of eight by my own brother and his friends and my mother knew the entire time. I am now seventeen and sure hope some of these statistics aren’t me.
