I knew child abuse was bad but I didn’t know it was this bad. I cannot believe how many children are abused. i was looking at this for a school paper on a topic I can have a strong statment on and seeing these stats. I can clearly say my statement has become a lot stronger.

I can’t believe how many people are abused out there. It’s a horrible thing. We got to speak out and let others know. I have spoken out about child abuse myself. I know it’s wrong but the people that do it obviously don’t understand how much it hurts. I have had my whole childhood token away from me and I will never get that back. I was sexually abused for three years at the age of eight by my own brother and his friends and my mother knew the entire time. I am now seventeen and sure hope some of these statistics aren’t me.

I am doing a school project on child abuse, and seeing and reading about some of the people that were abused and some of the children that had the marks on them from the abuse makes me very sad and all of this makes me want to help the children and who ever is getting abused.

I, too, am highly upseted by these statistics.
I am doing a school project for contemporary issues about child abuse.
