Week number 8 of my marathon training marks a week of running filled with highs, lows and an attitude adjustment! Week 8 started out with a few shorter runs of 4-6 mile runs.  I was very pleased when I managed to finish a 4-mile run at 10:50 pace.  Now that may seem slow to many, [...]

Whew!  Finished week 7 with a 12 mile run today.  Not sure what happened but I was feeling out of energy during the run.  I had incorporated several walk breaks today but finished with an overall pace of 12:05 mm.  I have also figured out that on Saturday’s, nothing will get done after I run.  [...]

Personal. Jerry and I finally put [...]

Just completed my long run for the week – 9 miles.  The miles are starting to get longer and I’m starting to feel it!  To be honest, up until this week, the training has been relatively easy.  But as I look at the training schedule, I notice not only are my weekly long runs going to [...]
